Sunny Does Milwaukee

Sunny at Stone Creek CoffeeMAM’s furriest friend, Sunny, from Alex Katz’s popular painting, has emBARKed on a staycation while the Museum undergoes renovations.

Read on to follow his adventure around the Milwaukee area. Then see him again at the Milwaukee Art Museum’s Community Free Day: Fresh Family Fun on Sunday, December 6! Admission to this event is FREE, thanks to Kohl’s!

 

Ruff Morning?  Sunny started his adventure off on the right foot with a cup of joe at Stone Creek Coffee! He even got behind the scenes and roasted his batch.

Sunny found a friend! Here is Sunny visiting the Puelicher Butterfly Vivarium at the Milwaukee Public Museum. He missed Granny, but will visit again on Friday, December 11, when Streets of Old Milwaukee reopens.

On his next stop, Sunny hung out in the Lynden Sculpture Garden. He is an art aficionado, you know!

Along the way, Sunny stopped to congratulate the Milwaukee County Zoo on the birth of its newest animal, Tafari the giraffe!

Sunny made a short stop to visit Hank at Miller Park (they may or may not have chased the Racing Sausages).

Sunny made a quick stop at the United Community Center on the south side of Milwaukee to play with students from Bruce-Guadalupe Community School.

Rounding off his staycation, Sunny made one last stop, visiting our neighbor—Reiman Aquarium at Discovery World!
