Summer in Full Color
Each year, Lakefront Festival of Art transforms the Museum’s lakefront campus into a vibrant outdoor gallery. As a Member, you’re invited to make the most of it! Discover 145 juried artists from across the country, catch live music throughout the day, and enjoy food and drinks as the festival unfolds around you.
Whether you make a beeline for favorite artists or wander between booths with a drink in hand, LFOA is designed for discovery and delight. Meet artists face to face, hear the stories behind their work, and experience art across painting, jewelry, ceramics, glass, and more.
June 12–14, 2026
Friday-Saturday, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
Sunday, 10 am.–5 p.m.
New this year, extended evening hours make it easier for Members to stay awhile. Stop by after work for dinner or happy hour, catch a live performance, and unwind in the Wine Garden as the sun goes down.
The festival is hands-on too. Artmaking activities for all ages invite Members, families, and friends to jump in, get creative, and make their own art to take home and enjoy.
Lakefront Festival of Art is organized by Friends of Art, the Milwaukee Art Museum’s volunteer-focused support group, and is powered by hundreds of dedicated community members who bring the festival to life each year.
