As summer winds down, so does the Summer of CHINA! This is your last chance to experience 3,000 years of Chinese art and culture before it closes on Sunday, September 11. The reviews have been glowing, the public response has been overwhelming, and the art itself is breathtaking.
Also this week, MAM After Dark returns with a tribute to summer, Backyard BBQ, on Friday, August 19. Enjoy a beer and cheese tasting from 6-8 p.m., live bluegrass music from Pike Creek starting at 8 p.m., and the young professionals’ group Newaukee will be on-hand with special deals, fun games, and more.
It’s your last After Dark chance to see The Emperor’s Private Paradise before the Summer of CHINA draws to an end.
Weekends are for families at the Museum, so stop in for Story Time in the Galleries, Sketching in the Galleries, and on Sunday, the let the Kohl’s Art Generation Studio take you on a “Trip to China!”
See you soon – before the Summer of CHINA ends!
