What’s Happening at the Milwaukee Art Museum: December 13-19

MAM After Dark: Euro Bash
MAM After Dark: Euro Bash
As winter unleashes its cold, there’s lots to warm up to at the Museum this week. And for families, don’t forget that kids under 12 are always free at the Museum!

The new exhibition Framing a Decade has opened to rave reviews and the newest acquisition by the Museum, a work by Ludwig Meidner, will be installed in the exhibition on Tuesday, so be sure to stop in this week and see just a small sampling of the over 3,000 prints and drawings that the Museum has acquired since 2001.

On Thursday, Members receive double discounts in the Museum Store. It’s a great opportunity to give something unique this holiday season, or give the gift of art all year long with a Gift Membership.

On Friday, December 17, MAM After Dark returns with Euro Bash, featuring live music by RADIO RADIO, an expanded DIY Station for make-your-own holiday gifts, a special trunk show by UWM’s Object Group, and free prizes from area businesses like The Milwaukee Theatre, The Rep, Soulstice Theatre, Renaissance TheaterWorks, The Onion, Coffee with a Conscience, Cafe Calatrava, and more! Tickets are available in advance or at the door. The coolest place to be on Friday will be MAM After Dark: Euro Bash.
