You’re in for a sporting good time! We’re celebrating Women’s History Month with a Sweet 16 of artworks for your March Madness bracket picks. Revisit some favorites and discover new ones as you complete your bracket with a selection of paintings in the collection by women artists. Submit your winner by April 7 for a chance to win a Museum-exclusive T-shirt from the Museum Store.
How to complete your bracket
Each one of us connects with art in our own way. Determine your winner for each matchup using the questions below. Share your bracket picks with friends. Are you rooting for the same artwork or are you team rivals? Download your bracket here.
Hint: You can answer these questions without knowing what the artwork is about! But to learn more, we invite you to read the labels or visit mam.org/collection. Pick up a map at the admissions desk and find artworks one through 16 for the most direct path.
Round 1: Sweet 16 The winner of each matchup is the artwork you will most likely visit again.
Round 2: Elite Eight Which artwork from each matchup most aligns with your personality?
Round 3: Final Four Choose the artwork whose artist you want to talk with. What would you ask them?
Round 4: Championship If you could display one artwork in your home to see every day, which would you choose?
