What’s Happening at the Milwaukee Art Museum: April 18-April 24

This week, the big news is that the kids are home on spring break and in need of something to do! Bring them to the Museum (Kids 12 and under get in FREE!) and enjoy the Kohl’s Art Generation Studio. Open all week long (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.), the Studio provides hands-on, make-and-take art projects for kids of all ages. This month’s theme: Things that Grow!

And while you are here, share the iPod Touch Tour with your kids and learn about art the interactive way. Plus, learn your Museum Manners!

This week there is also plenty for the Moms and Dads, including a Gallery Talk on The New Materiality (Tuesday, 1:30 p.m.), an Express Talk on Frank Lloyd Wright (Thursday, noon), and Drop-in tours (Saturday and Sunday).

So while the weather forecast might differ, spring is definitely here and so is spring break, so bring the whole family in for some seasonal fun.

The Museum is open Easter Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
